Lynn Pittman D.O.

Originally from Chicago, Lynn Pittman graduated from Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her Residency in Internal Medicine-Primary Care at Stroger Hospital of Cook County and Rush St. Luke Hospital in Chicago. She is a member of the National Medical Association.

Prior to Medical School, Lynn graduated from Chicago National College of Naprapathy, where she completed studies in holistic healing focusing on evaluation and treatment of various spinal and joint connective tissue pathologies, as well as a whole food approach to nutrition and improved elimination.

“I have a background in Natural Health that led me to want to practice medicine in a way that involves more than just symptomatic care. “I am particularly interested in preventive healthcare and combining allopathic and holistic practices.

I see Internal Medicine as a bridge to treating the whole person rather than just managing a set of symptoms,”

Above all, she feels that the most important component in a relationship between a doctor and patient is trust. She wants her patients to be able to trust that she has their best interests in mind when recommending a given approach to their care.

She also feels that her patients should know that she is a doctor who is interested in not just the presenting complaint, but investigating possible causes and remedies for those complaints. She is interested in sharing with her patients ways they can improve both care and self-awareness, while educating them on general healthcare principles.
